Advance Book Copies

We're received the advance copies for the physical Monster Wrangler book!
They look pretty good, and we're really happy with how they turned out.
Now it's just a matter of waiting for the rest of the books to make their way across the ocean. If we don't run into issues, that means that we're most likely going to be getting them into the mail in June, which is a little bit ahead of schedule.
We will keep you updated when we have more information!
Production Update

Here's a quick update on where things stand with the physical books!
Everything has finished printing, and the books will be delivered to the freight forwarder next Monday (April 3rd). That should put them on the water that weekend (around April 8th). I don't have an estimated arrival date yet, but I'm guessing we're around 6-8 weeks from that point.
All in all, that puts us a little bit ahead of schedule, which is pretty cool!
We're also putting the final touches on a Monster Wrangler expansion, which will most likely release around mid-April or so (once we've got the last of the art finished up). It adds Remnant monsters to the game, along with the Torment Type, the Ritualist Class, and a new adventure. Stay turned for more details on that!
Once we get the advance copies of the books in, we'll share some pictures. Until then, take care!
Physical Proof and Address Lock

We received the physical proofs from our manufacturer and wanted to share some pictures!
These pages are to confirm our colors and bleed margins are accurate on all the pages. A bleed margin is the extra bit of space on each of the pages that goes beyond where the book is expected to be cut by a few millimeters to ensure that things don't look funky if a page is cut a millimeter or two to one side or the other.
Our hardcover is just a normal sheet of paper in this physical proof, but it lets us ensure that the image is lined up like we want. The image here appears a bit off-center, but that's because the edges of the image will wrap around the cover in the physical version.
Here you can see all of the various "page packets" that comprise the book. The dotted line you see along the edges of the page is the bleed margin.
We addressed a few minor issues and then approved the pages, so things have progressed to the next step of production!
Address Lock
We will be locking addresses and charging cards for shipping on March 15th. If you need to change your address, please do so before that date. If something comes up and your address changes after that point, please let us know.
PDF Update
Finally, we've sent out an updated version of the PDF that addresses two image issues with the previous version.
Expansion Plans
We're currently working on a small PDF expansion to bring some Remnant monsters into the game, so we'll keep you updated on that as it moves forward. Our current plan is to release a few expansions as PDF, and then if the interest is there, bundle them together for a physical release.

We just sent out an updated Monster Wrangler PDF to everyone with a PDF reward tier. You should receive an email with the file; if you don't see it, make sure to check your junk folder!
This update addresses some minor clarification issues and a few typos. It's also got some alternate art for the monsters in the adventures to make them stand out a bit more for the standard version.
The physical book files are with the manufacturer, who has been preparing them for printing once the Chinese New Year ends in a couple days. We will keep you updated as we move into the next steps of printing.

We have begun sending out Monster Wrangler PDFs to all of our backers at tiers with that reward!
We've still got a little ways before the physical books finish printing and get shipped out; the files are with the manufacturer, but we're still waiting to get proofs back. In the meantime, however, you can now look through the (digital) book and begin your monster wrangling careers!
Thank you everyone for all of your support in helping us make Monster Wrangler a reality. We're already planning some expansion material, but we'll let you know more about that once it takes a more solid shape.
For now, get some monsters on the table and let us know which ones are your favorites!
